Deane is a founding partner of The PGCG Group. He earned his B.A. in business administration from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL and began his career in the financial services industry in 1998 in Jacksonville, Florida. Working on the institutional side of the business, with a focus on retirement plans, quickly lost its appeal.
2003 saw Deane and his wife Rachel packing up their rabbit (and all their worldly possessions) and heading to the North Carolina mountains. Both the mountain lifestyle and working with families, instead of institutions, awaited.
During the day, you might find Deane working on an income plan, helping to shape the team’s investment policy, implementing those investments or talking through strategy with a client. After work, you’ll typically find Deane and Rachel cycling, practicing yoga, or enjoying the many animals that frequent their back (and front) yard.
